I think the difference is a fictionkin is based on somebody fake, where as realkin would be somebody real, say Joseph Stalin

I am trying to figure out what shifting is.

fictionkin: a secondary personality based off a fictional character
realkin: a secondary personality based off a real person
shifting: you have a tulpa, but you don't hear them...you become them and think however they do, and stop thinking like yourself until you un-shift

Shifting is a very difficult thing to explain when one is both kin and has a tulpa. And even DID. Especially confusing when it's all three.

It means I say that I am a changeling.

No, clearly you are inside a human body, so it must mean something else.

It's not shifting, at least, for soulbonders it's fronting where a soulbond can step in and take control of the body. Think of it like a spirit possessing someone but ultimatly the host has control of their body.

I am a changeling. My process of determining the fact that I identify as a changeling does not go beyond that.

Well, I disagree. Changelings are not real, and we are in the real world, so that does not make sense.

I do not see where it loses its sense. Most tulpas first identify with their forms rather than the host body.
